Frozen Ghost Banana Pops for Dogs

Looking for a spooky-cute way to celebrate Halloween with your pup?

These Frozen Ghost Banana Pops are simple, healthy, and ridiculously adorable the kind of treat that turns everyday snack time into a festive moment.

With just three wholesome ingredients, you can create ghost-shaped popsicles your dog will love (and you’ll definitely want to photograph). Perfect for hot days, Halloween parties, or a fun enrichment moment at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana

  • Plain unsweetened Greek yogurt

  • Carob powder (dog-safe chocolate alternative)

Instructions

  1. Slice the banana in half and gently insert popsicle sticks into the thicker end.

  2. Place the banana pops on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for at least 1 hour.

  3. Dip the frozen banana halves into Greek yogurt.

    • Tip: Use a tall glass or deep bowl so you can submerge them easily.

  4. Return the coated bananas to the freezer for another hour to set.

  5. In a small bowl, mix 1 tsp carob powder with 1 tbsp Greek yogurt.

  6. Transfer the carob mixture to a mini piping bag (or a baggie with the tip snipped).

  7. Pipe two eyes and a little ghost mouth onto each frozen pop. 👻

  8. Freeze for 20 more minutes, then serve the spooky treats!

Store extras in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Why This Recipe Works

  • Bananas add natural sweetness + healthy potassium.
  • Greek yogurt delivers protein + probiotics for happy tummies.
  • Carob is a tasty, dog-safe chocolate alternative - perfect for spooky vibes.
  • No baking, no fuss, and total Halloween cuteness.

These ghost pops are as fun to make as they are for your pup to enjoy a perfect healthy treat to share the Halloween spirit in true dog mom era style.
